apibrėžtis Technologas, kuris, vienas arba bendradarbiaudamas su architektais ar inžinieriais, atlieka tyrimus, braižo brėžinius, maketus, sąmatas, sutartis ir užtikrina statybos projektų priežiūrą. Tam tikslui jis analizuoja planus, pagal juos braižo tikslius brėžinius, juos papildo išsamiais nurodymais, įvertina kainą ir darbų atlikimo terminus, vyksta į statybvietes, siekdamas įsitikinti, ar atliekami darbai atitinka planuose ir sąmatose numatytus darbus ir standartų reikalavimus.
